After nearly 30 years in the consumer financial services business, Jeff Baxter transferred and re-focused his skills in service development, client relations, people management, and financial planning to build a highly regarded mortgage banking business in the Delaware Beach Resorts.Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club Jeff learned banking and financial management from the ground up, starting as a bank teller in 1977 in Washington, DC and moving through branch management, mortgage banking, retirement account management, marketing and advertising, and credit card marketing. After leaving Citibank in 1994, Jeff started SJ Baxter & Associates which provided consulting and market research services to major banks and credit card issuers. After closing his consulting practice, he joined Prosperity Mortgage on the advice of Leslie Kopp a prominent Realtor with Long & Foster in Bethany Beach and long-time friend. The beach provides the perfect lifestyle for Jeff and his family. With his wife, Sue, they own a home in Ocean View overlooking White’s Creek, a tributary of the Indian River. Jeff is very involved in the community and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce in 2006. He had previously served on the Board of Cripple Creek Golf & Country Club, where he is an active member and avid golfer.
